Viceroy

(bass/vocals)

Viceroy grew up a studious lad – with a strange bent toward Animal Husbandry – who as a teen spent his days feverishly pursuing his dream of becoming the next Benjamin Franklin.

One stormy night, while setting up to re-enact the famous Franklin discovery of electricity (flying a kite in the rain, with lightning and the whole bit), young Viceroy was startled by, yet attracted to the booming, rumbling thunder that emanated from the heavens.  The sound waves reverberated through his young virile body and created a need that had to be filled – the need to find a way to replicate this soul-reaching sensation again and again.

Viceroy eventually found the “fix” he so badly needed – the four-stringed tool of delight he uses at each show to stun unprepared crowds.  He lays down thunderous bass lines that not only reverberate through the audience, but also form the very pulse of the band.

Recent winner of the “Sexiest Bassist in the Band” contest, Viceroy parlayed his newfound celebrity into virtually nothing at all.

A Southern California native with an extensive musical resume, Viceroy takes delight in long walks on the beach, romantic candlelight dinners, and deep, meaningful conversation.  He was recently informed that it might be even more delightful if he invited someone to do these things with him.
