There are many names for the goddess.  The Greeks called her Aphrodite.  We call her…Venus.  Venus emerged from the briny depths one moonlit night during a grunion run at South Mission Beach, much to the delight of passersby. 

She’ll take you on a musical journey back in time, back to the decade of decadence, the 1980s.  She’ll sing to you of love, lust , betrayal, obsession.  One way or another, this material girl just can’t get enough of riding on a crazy train while walking like an Egyptian.  Recently voted “Most Likely to Wear Out Her Leg Warmers” by her fellow band members.

In her spare time, Venus enjoys entertaining friends with her numerous animal impressions, spending time with her children Saturn and Jupiter, and watching a healthy dose of Brat Pack movies.  Her other hobbies include stargazing, knitting leg warmers, and doing Jane Fonda aerobics videos.  Remember, men are from Mars, But Venus is from...
